Role Description
The Middle Market Banker I is responsible for taking ownership of all tasks and challenges encountered in their assigned position.
- Develop new middle market business through consultative sales efforts
- Manage a high level and emerging loan and deposit portfolio providing superior client service
- Analyze financial information to evaluate the credit worthiness of loan requests
- Compile loan packages ensuring completeness and accuracy of information provided, in collaboration with portfolio managers
- Work with the Bank’s product teams to cross-sell products and services
- Ensure all loans comply with State and Federal regulations and Bank policies and procedures
- Define success through efficacy in calling activity, proposal generation, revenue generation, risk mitigation, and building successful relationships
- Support the unique character of the communities served and encourage decision making by the banker closest to the customer
- Prioritize soundness before short-term profitability and growth
