Role Description
This role involves assisting customers in making Medicare healthcare decisions by carefully matching them with the optimal products and services. The Licensed Medicare Sales Agent will be responsible for providing a phenomenal customer experience while consistently meeting or exceeding monthly sales goals.
- Drive sales and revenue by assisting customers in making healthcare decisions over the phone
- Meet and exceed monthly sales and performance goals
- Complete transactional sales through closing
- Conduct follow-up calls to ensure client satisfaction, resolve issues, and close business
- Adhere to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare Marketing Guidelines and company policies and procedures
- Other duties and projects will be assigned as needed
Qualifications
- Must currently hold an active health insurance license
- Minimum of 1 year AEP Experience
- Experience selling Medicare Supplement/Medigap is preferred
- Experience selling Individual and/or senior insurance products via the telephone
- Excellent computer software skills (e.g. Word, Excel, Project and Internet skills)
- Strong communication skills
- High School Diploma required; BA/BS preferred
- Call center experience preferred
- Must be flexible in hours you are able to work (possible weekends)
- Must be able to work 50hr/week during the final 2 weeks of AEP
- Ability to work from home with access to a private workspace and reliable home internet
