[Hiring] Global Client Manager @American Express Global Business Travel

Role Description

As a Global Client General Manager, you’ll own the retention and growth plan for your dedicated account. We’re looking for proactive professionals with expertise in business travel and a passion for world-class customer service experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead strategic client retention and growth plan for account portfolio
• Proactively identify risks to the portfolio; develop and implement an action plan
• Collaborate with operations and other internal Amex GBT teams
• Influence key client decision makers, educating about Amex GBT’s value and key differentiators
• Increase transaction revenue for Amex GBT and key suppliers
• Proactively share client and market trends to internal and external leaders

Qualifications

• Proven understanding of the business travel industry
• Experience in a similar role / supporting global clients
• Strong Project Management and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle contending demands
• Adaptation and flexibility is key
• Proactive identification and resolution of challenges
• Professional communication (written and verbal)
• Collaborative and open to feedback

Requirements

Location: United States

The US national base salary range for this position is from $88,200.00 - $163,800.00. The national range provided includes the base salary that Amex GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.

In addition to base salary, the anticipated range of which is posted above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which rewards participants based on company and individual performance.
