Role Description
We're on the lookout for a General Manager to come and join the fold, taking the reins and leading our AU region. This is a newly created role, and we need someone who’s ready to own the market, lead our cross-functional commercial teams, and help us scale the crap out of our business across all channels.
- Define a strategy tailored to the unique needs of the AU market
- Translate company-wide objectives into clear, actionable strategies that drive growth locally
- Level up teams and push for faster decision-making, accountability, and results
- Act as a bridge between local and global teams, ensuring alignment while fostering growth across the region
If you worked here this past month here are some things you might have been involved in:
- Leading the team to finalise our FY25 H2 regional plans, while already thinking ahead to the strategy for FY26
- Assessing our impact in retail and evolving our strategy to build the strongest retail partnerships in market
- Steering a cross-functional group to devise plans that’ll turbocharge our existing customer experience and build stronger brand loyalty
- Supporting the evolution of our product and pricing strategies
- Providing guidance and support to a cross-functional team, helping them develop and execute a clear roadmap to hit our goals
- Building a localised test-and-learn roadmap with hypotheses and success metrics
Qualifications
- Expertise in the Australian market
- Experience as a General Manager
- Proven track record in leading diverse teams
- Experience in scale-up environments
- Ability to forge meaningful cross-functional relationships
Requirements
- Proven track record of contributing to the growth stories of brands in the AU market
- Experience in leading market expansions, accelerating product launches, or optimising team performance
- Ability to make data-driven decisions and set ambitious yet achievable goals
- Experience in developing holistic strategies that drive real impact
- Knowledge of leveraging customer, competitor, and market insights to shape growth strategies
