[Hiring] Executive Partner - IT Procurement Advisory for Global Enterprises @Gartner

Role Description

You will manage a portfolio of 28-30 clients, typically IT Procurement leaders reporting to CIOs, from global Fortune 100 – 500 organizations.

As their Executive Partner, you will be delivering value through:

• Regular briefings
• On-site workshops
• Roundtables
• Webinars
• Attending relevant Gartner events

As someone who has previously been in their shoes before, you will use your knowledge and expertise, along with additional Gartner resources and research, to coach and mentor your clients on critical initiatives and challenges for today and tomorrow specifically within the IT Procurement space.

Collaboration is key. You will work closely with several internal Gartner teams to ensure value is delivered. These can include:

• Sales teams
• Analysts
• Client Managers
• Your peers across other EITL domains

This role is a Client-facing position that requires a high level of Executive presence and ability to build trust and deliver value.

Responsible for member retention and for contributing toward growth in the region through direct support of Gartner Sales in:

• Prospect cultivation
• Account plan development
• Value demonstration activities

This is a predominantly home-based role, where you will operate as an individual contributor managing your own desk and other administrative tasks, i.e. expense reports, meetings.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of senior executive and/or c-level experience working in IT Sourcing and Procurement roles
• Entrepreneurial Drive
• In-depth understanding of business and launching new technology products and services
• Has managed a P&L for a sizeable organization
• In-depth understanding of the IT industry and Technology
• Experience with strategy development, organizational design, initiative management, application of metrics and understanding of major industry trends
• Critical thinking and problem solving to assess client situations and provide actionable outcome based business/technical advice
• High tolerance / evolved ability to lead and manage ambiguous situations
• Excellent relationship management skills including experience working with senior technology and business leaders
• Experience coaching and mentoring senior level leaders
• Collaboration and team leadership
• Strong time and client portfolio management skills
• Travel 25% and upwards
• Ability to work with minimal administrative support

• Demonstrate superior verbal and written communication skills as well as strong facilitation and presentation skills.
