Role Description

The Regional Sales Representative will identify sales leads, collect information from leads and prospective clients, educate clients about our products, provide product demonstrations, and closing sales. This position will be responsible for selling goods and services to the designated assigned areas by interacting with current and potential customers.

• Identify sales leads and collect information from leads and prospective clients
• Educate clients about products and provide product demonstrations
• Work closely with sales manager and team to develop and reach sales goals for territory
• Routinely communicate market activities and conditions to the team
• Provide marketing support to promote Potters’ brand throughout the industry
• Keep updated with product sales techniques
• Provide great customer service support by answering questions
• Promote Potters product lines to end users and distributors
• Identify potential customers within assigned territory through leads and cold calling
• Establish and maintain relationships with current customers
• Present products and/or services to potential customers to attract new business
• Create effective and organized sales/technical presentations on products for each customer’s needs
• Develop and present proposals to prospective customers detailing product information, pricing, contract terms, and other details pertaining to the sale

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; Technical Degree a plus, Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• 7+ years Direct Sales Experience required
• 7+ years of Manufacturing sales experience required

Requirements

• Travel up to 40%-60% required
• Strong in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Proficient in Microsoft Teams: Chats, Calls, and Meetings
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and proactive to work independently
• Must have a clean driving record and passport
• Ability to travel freely between the US and Canada
