Role Description
As a Director of Strategic Partnerships you will play a crucial role in developing and managing partnerships to drive the growth of the company. This role will lead our efforts in identifying, developing and securing strategic partnerships and key client relationships.
- Develop, execute and oversee a business strategy that prioritizes new channel partnerships growth
- Find new partners through prospecting, lead generation, pitching, negotiating and closing new sales deals
- Create goals and metrics as well as track sales progress and manage through obstacles to achieve your quotas
- Participate in formulating and implementing innovative deal terms that acquire, engage, and monetize customers at scale
- Manage relationships with partners through regular communications and effective, well-organized business reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in new business development/ strategic relationships
- Having business development experience within an early-stage startup or insurtech company is highly preferred
- Experience working with financial models, selling through and understanding the various inputs that will influence ROI, and incorporate those insights into deal planning and management
- Familiarity with standard deal structures and ability to review and analyze contracts
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- Bonus points for experience selling into ADP, Paychex, etc.
- Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills and ability to distill complex issues into the structured framework and concrete plans
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with great attention to detail; the flexibility to accommodate global partners in different time zones

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - 150,000 plus a generous annual bonus structure starting at 25% of annual salary. We have a market-based compensation structure. The salary for this position may vary based on a candidate's experience, industry expertise, technical skills, and location. The range provided is just one component of total compensation including, but not limited to bonus eligibility based upon the achievement of performance objectives and company stock options.
