Role Description

The Business Development Representative role plays a key part in driving pipeline growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers within the property management and real estate space. The position requires strong communication skills, resilience, and a results-oriented mindset, offering the opportunity to directly impact revenue generation and business expansion.

Youโ€™ll collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to build awareness, generate interest, and create qualified opportunities that fuel the sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify prospective customers in the real estate and property management space.
  • Outreach via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to engage decision-makers and influencers.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to assess fit and hand off to Sales Executives.
  • Schedule discovery calls and demos to move prospects through the pipeline.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to optimize messaging and campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM, HubSpot.
  • Contribute to refining outreach strategies and sales processes.

Qualifications

  • 0โ€“3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (experience preferred but not required).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to persuade, influence, and engage potential customers.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Comfortable with high-volume outbound outreach and prospecting activities.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and basic sales technologies.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Resilience and positive attitude when handling rejection and objections.

Preferred

  • Experience in SaaS, proptech, fintech, or related industries.
  • Familiarity with sales engagement tools and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
