Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to spearhead our SaaS sales initiatives. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and driving the expansion of our AI-powered retail solutions.

  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape within the retail sector.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to effectively position STHRIVEs solutions in the market.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by targeting potential clients in the retail industry.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Articulate the value proposition of STHRIVEs AI-powered solutions and tailor proposals to meet client needs.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Establish and foster strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding their business challenges and aligning STHRIVEs solutions to address their needs.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market penetration and client satisfaction.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, manage the sales pipeline, and report on key performance metrics.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance and market feedback.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the SaaS industry and with a focus on retail solutions.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the retail industry and the challenges faced by frontline employees.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent in English & Chinese.
