Role Description
The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving sales growth in a startup environment.
- Focus on client outreach through strategic initiatives and hands-on efforts
- Develop and implement strategic outreach plans to attract new clients
- Identify high-potential clients and conduct manual client outreach via phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings
- Schedule and lead meetings with prospective clients to understand their needs and present suitable solutions
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of potential clients and track outreach activities
- Use Data Management tools to store client information
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
- Set and achieve sales targets, develop systems and/or procedures to optimize sales operations
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Managing Director on sales metrics
- Initiate, develop, and execute projects to further enhance sales performance
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a client outreach role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience working with US-based/Canada-based or off-shore clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills/ English proficiency
- Experience working on a Graveyard Shift
- Experience of taking little direction and figuring things out on their own
Requirements
- Amenable to work in a graveyard shift (9AM-6PM Eastern Daylight Time)
