Role Description
This role involves managing all inbound leads via phone for prospective life insurance customers, ensuring they get the coverage they need while providing a positive customer experience.
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective customers via the phone
- Demystify the industry jargon and make life insurance easy to understand
- Use a consultative sales approach to guide customers through the application process
- Work closely with sales teammates to solve complex client problems
- Continuously improve your performance in a metrics-driven environment
- Have access to consistent 1:1 coaching, ongoing learning and development opportunities, and mentorship
- Ensure prospective customers receive unparalleled service
Qualifications
- Prior experience successfully selling a variety of life insurance products, including both term and permanent life insurance
- Active life insurance license
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and excited to grow in a fast-paced sales environment
- Eager to learn from a diverse group of competitive peers
- Will to succeed in a target-driven environment, with substantial incentives based on various KPIs
- Ability to work well with others, solving problems using Slack, Zoom, Five9, and other communication methods
- Natural conversationalist, keeping the conversation flowing and being a pleasure for clients to speak to
- Welcoming feedback and looking to improve skills
- Open to working occasional weekends and evenings from home
Requirements
- Experience in a metrics-driven sales environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
