Role Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join the group working on publications accounts. This role would suit someone who enjoys the challenge of acquiring scientific knowledge and expertise across different therapy areas, and developing excellent relationships with clients.
- Provide scientific and strategic consultation
- Manage professional relations with leading academics
- Develop a range of publications projects
- Lead a team to deliver a range of services to clients
- Manage assigned account(s) to ensure all projects and services meet client business needs
- Oversee all projects, deadlines, budgets, and team assignments
- Support existing client business development and potential new business
- Achieve agreed-upon financial targets
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in life sciences (advanced degree preferred)
- 3+ years experience working in a medical communications agency on publications projects
- Solid project management skills including financial budgeting skills
- Strong ability to work well within a team
- Exceptional client relations and communication skills
- Working knowledge or previous experience utilizing Veeva is a plus
