Role Description

Guides and leads a team of employees within the assigned sales division. Communicates sales goals, territory updates, safety practices, and timelines to the team. Motivates team members with sales activities and assists with assessing performance. Provides help to management, including schedules, hiring, and training. Keeps management updated on team performance, as well as analyzes sales data.

Essential Job Functions (*=Non-essential tasks):

• Assists the assigned sales team with the coordination of work, sales activities, territory reviews, goal achievement, and sales initiatives.
• Provides direction on issues and problems. Assesses unusual problems, formulates solutions and refers to departmental leadership.
• Serves as a liaison with customers and internal departments to ensure smooth operation and overall customer satisfaction.
• Evaluates quality issues to identify processes in need of review/revision.
• Performs analysis of sales data in order to provide updates to help guide the team with driving results.
• Compiles data and provides regular reports to Sales Leader to illustrate status of team’s goals.
• Creates and delivers training to new and existing personnel, ensuring their knowledge base is current.
• Oversees employee and team performance; coaches, counsels and motivates employees, assist Director with preparing and delivering performance evaluations.
• Investigates complaints, performance concerns, or employee relation issues and assists the Director with disciplinary action as needed, in consultation with Human Resources.
• Assist/Undertakes projects that are defined by Director and ensures project deadlines are met.

Requirements

• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Minimum of 5 years of consulting, customer service or sales experience, including large account management experience.
• Territory planning experience.
• Proven record of revenue results with high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Experience working with various organizations within the Church with proven success.
• Completed Business or Communication classes.
• Knowledge of business management and planning.
• Fundraising Experience.
• Knowledge of or experience with Catholic school and/or parish markets preferred.
• Must be willing to travel 50%.
• Ability to meet daily goals and meet deadlines.
• Daily customer calls and/or visits in the field.
• Ability to set up a home office.
• Evening and weekend work required periodically throughout the year.
• Knowledge of selling techniques and ability to close sales is preferred, but training will be provided.
• Self-starter.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record that meets company requirements.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred; however, a combination of relevant work experience and education will be considered.

Compensation

OSV recognizes that its employees work in many different states and therefore may be affected by different laws. It is OSV’s intention to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws that apply to the Company’s employees.

Offered compensation is determined based on market data, internal equity, and an applicant’s relevant skills, experience, and educational background.

General Salary Range: $50,000 - $54,000

This position is a remote position and will be working from a home office.
