Role Description

CYPHER Learning is seeking a dynamic and motivated Account Executive to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing high-value enterprise opportunities for our SaaS-based learning management system.

  • Own the full sales cycle for enterprise accounts, including prospecting, qualification, needs assessment, solution presentation, negotiation and closing.
  • Utilize a deep understanding of value-based selling methodologies to align CYPHER Learning's solutions with the business goals of enterprise prospects.
  • Proactively identify and target new enterprise business opportunities through strategic outreach, networking, and building relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of how large enterprise organizations make purchasing decisions, navigate procurement processes, and manage long sales cycles.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and other key stakeholders at target organizations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure smooth sales handoffs to deliver an exceptional experience to customers post-sale.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving customer needs to position CYPHER Learning as the preferred LMS solution for enterprise-level organizations.
  • Consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets and KPIs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities in CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, ideally in SaaS, EdTech, or a related industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and goals.
  • Experience selling to decision-makers in organizations (C-suite, VPs, directors).

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to closing and post-sale account management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate the value of complex solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
