Role Description
We’re seeking an Account Executive that is the primary strategist and point of contact for key client accounts. Account Executives work closely with clients to align marketing efforts with their business goals and will collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality campaigns and deliverables including marketing retainers, branding projects, and website projects.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships and trust.
- Provide high-quality, valuable strategic consulting services on each client account.
- Organize specialty teams to conduct discovery for strategic understanding of clients’ audiences, market, competitors, goals, and branding.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables by coordinating with internal teams.
- Analyze campaign performance, gather data, and apply insights to optimize strategies.
- Facilitate clear, compelling communication in client meetings, emails, and presentations.
- Address client challenges and internal process improvements swiftly and effectively.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and/or account growth to support the company's goals.
Qualifications
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in a strategic marketing position, agency experience preferred.
- Must be a problem-solver, able to react quickly to new or complex client requests.
- Must be personable and able to develop great working relationships with clients and internal team members alike.
- Must have excellent prioritization and organizational skills in order to juggle competing demands.
- Must be a great presenter who can confidently and persuasively sell work and ideas.
- Must be resilient and positive, even in difficult situations.
Requirements
- Thorough understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics including SEO, email marketing, digital advertising, social media, etc.
- Able to see the bigger picture and make decisions that align with clients’ business goals.
- Capable of articulating complex ideas clearly, succinctly, persuasively to both clients and teams.
- Demonstrates agility in addressing challenges and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Takes ownership of client success, continuously assessing relationships and improving processes.
- Ensures every project detail is managed, from tracking hours to meeting deadlines.
- Breaks down complex issues into easy-to-understand, deadline-driven action items.
- Reviews all final deliverables with a critical eye and provides clear, thoughtful feedback.
- Regularly asks for and is open to feedback internally and from clients.
- Displays a positive, eager, and mature attitude towards colleagues and clients.
