[Hiring] Account Director I SLED @Lumen Technologies

Role Description

As an Account Director I SLED you will identify and develop new sales opportunities, provide product solutions, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain positive ongoing relationships to maximize sales for the company. Introduces company products and services to new and/or existing customers. Develops and maintains accurate sales and/or revenue forecasts and management of quota funnels.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop sales in the designated target market(s) by identifying new sales opportunities through:
  • Cold calling
  • Premise visits
  • Networking
  • Lead generation
  • Proposal submission
  • Customer appointments
• Develop and manage relationships with acquired and/or existing customers to:
  • Attain additional business
  • Retain existing revenue
• Develop action plans to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase overall total customer spend with the company.
• Learn and develop further knowledge of new technologies and selling points, enhancing expertise in the company's entire product suite.
• Provide comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and/or existing accounts.
• Provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quota requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry sales experience

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry-specific sales experience
• Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities
• Ability to prioritize with good time management skills
• Knowledge and understanding of the telecom industry's competitive landscape
• Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
• Demonstrated strong communication, written, and formal presentation skills
• Proficiency in selling to the close
• Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with the ability to work with minimum direction
• Proficient in MS Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Requires at least 50% or more of time conducting sales activities outside of the office, including travel to customer meetings and company meetings

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

• Location Based Pay Ranges: $87,298 - $116,397 in these states: NM
