Role Description
The Account Development Specialist (ADS) supports Veristat’s ABM strategy and plays an important role in achieving Veristat’s growth and revenue targets. The primary goal is to engage new accounts and assist with the growth of existing target accounts, generate qualified meetings, and drive new business opportunities to RFP, all while ensuring defined KPIs are documented and achieved.
- Conduct personalized outreach via phone and electronic media
- Research accounts, prospects, and products to tailor content
- Document activities and follow standard processes
- Collaborate with other groups and support Go-to-Market campaign outreach
- Progress qualified leads and support internal business initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; High School Diploma required
- 1-4 years of inside sales or sales experience required
- Proficient in Excel, Outlook, LinkedIn, Web-browser, and search engine navigation
- Experience with database management in a CRM preferred, Salesforce preferred
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and strategic thinker
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Good prioritization capabilities
- Ability to effectively problem solve and maximize use of resources
- Comfortable making cold calls to prospective companies
- Strong research capabilities
Requirements
- Must be comfortable interfacing with various levels of business contacts, including executives, with a high level of professionalism
- Ability to see a task through to completion, despite other project demands
