Role Description
As a Senior Research Consultant, you will independently lead customized research projects from conception through delivery. Youβll partner directly with senior-level stakeholders at some of the nationβs most prominent organizations, serving as their trusted advisor on critical recruitment strategy and candidate experience decisions.
Key Responsibilities

Research Consulting & Project Management

Serve as the primary research advisor for 5-8 enterprise-level employer partners, diagnosing their unique talent acquisition and early career recruiting challenges and designing customized research protocols to address them.

Scope projects and create workplans that align research design with client objectives.

Lead end-to-end research projects independently: define client needs, formulate research questions, develop tailored survey instruments, and produce insightful deliverables.

Coordinate project timelines and proactively manage relationships with senior stakeholders and main points of contact at member organizations.

Data Interpretation & Strategic Narrative Formation

Distilling quantitative and qualitative findings into clear, executive-ready summaries and strategic recommendations.

Analyze open-ended comments to discern key themes and translate them into compelling narratives tailored for early career and talent acquisition leaders.

Writing tailored takeaways and recommendations for employers based on the most salient research findings.

Review research deliverables (own and peers') to ensure accuracy, clarity, and client-readiness before they reach stakeholders.

Communicating Research Findings

Present research findings directly to senior and executive-level stakeholders in member organizations with confidence and credibility.

Serve as a trusted advisor on employers' recruiting strategy, proactively providing strategic guidance rooted in Veris Insights' research that influences client decisions.

Build enduring advisory relationships that position you as a go-to source of talent intelligence for client stakeholders.

Internal Processes & Continuous Improvement

Contribute to research strategy by generating ideas for new project objectives and product innovation.

Identify opportunities for infrastructure and process improvements, and help drive their implementation through thoughtful workplanning.

Demonstrate strong work calibration skills, managing competing priorities and quality standards across a portfolio of concurrent client projects.
Qualifications

4-6 years of professional experience in survey research, analytics, talent insights, consulting, or related fields, with a meaningful portion spent in client-facing or advisory capacities.

Demonstrated excellence advising external clients, including a track record of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing their strategic decisions.

Proven ability to diagnose ambiguous business challenges and translate them into well-scoped research designs, from formulating research questions through instrument design, analysis, and delivery.

Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis capabilities, paired with the strategic storytelling skills needed to turn complex data into executive-ready narratives.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the executive presence and credibility to present findings directly to senior leaders in early career programs or talent acquisition.

Proven ability to design and execute custom research projects from end to end.

Experience managing concurrent projects independently, including scoping, workplanning, and coordinating timelines across multiple client engagements.

Salary: $92,500 to $115,000 annually, depending on experience.
