Role Description
As a Research Consultant, you will independently lead customized research projects from conception through delivery. Youβll partner directly with senior-level stakeholders leading early-career recruiting at Fortune 1000 organizations, serving as their trusted advisor on recruitment strategy and candidate experience decisions.
The Custom Insights team provides customized, actionable research tailored specifically to each of our employer partners. We focus on gathering pivotal candidate data at critical decision-making points to deliver bespoke insights and strategic recommendations that significantly enhance candidate experiences and recruitment outcomes.
Qualifications

3-5 years of professional experience in survey research, analytics, talent insights, consulting, or a related field, with meaningful time spent in a client-facing or advisory capacity.

A track record of turning ambiguous, loosely defined problems into clear, well-scoped research designs, from formulating the right questions through instrument design, analysis, and delivery.

Experience operating as a genuine advisor to senior stakeholders, with a demonstrated ability to shape how clients think about their own strategy.

A history of producing sharp quantitative and qualitative analysis paired with the storytelling skill to make complex data land as a clear, actionable narrative.

The written and verbal command to present findings directly to senior leaders and have the room trust your read, not just your report.

A demonstrated ability to run custom projects end to end, independently, from scoping through delivery, without needing the path mapped out in advance.

Experience managing multiple concurrent client engagements without dropping the quality bar.
Requirements

Serve as the primary research advisor for 8-10 employer partners, diagnosing their recruiting challenges and designing customized research protocols to address them.

Scope projects and create workplans that align research design with client objectives.

Lead end-to-end research projects independently: define client needs, formulate research questions, develop tailored survey instruments, and produce insightful deliverables.

Coordinate project timelines and proactively manage relationships with senior stakeholders and main points of contact at member organizations.

Distill quantitative and qualitative findings into clear, executive-ready summaries and strategic recommendations.

Analyze open-ended data to discern key themes and translate them into compelling narratives tailored for early career and talent acquisition leaders.

Write tailored takeaways and recommendations for employers based on the most salient research findings.

Review research deliverables (own and peers') to ensure accuracy, clarity, and client-readiness before they reach stakeholders.

Present research findings directly to senior and executive-level stakeholders in member organizations with confidence and credibility.

Serve as a trusted advisor on employers' recruiting strategy, proactively providing strategic guidance rooted in Veris Insights' research that influences client decisions.

Build enduring advisory relationships that position you as a go-to source of talent intelligence for client stakeholders.

Contribute to research strategy by generating ideas for new project objectives and product innovation.

Identify opportunities for infrastructure and process improvements, and help drive their implementation through thoughtful work planning.

Demonstrate strong work calibration skills, managing competing priorities and quality standards across a portfolio of concurrent client projects.
Benefits

Salary: $80,000-92,500 annually, depending on experience.
