Role Description
CLASS is seeking Consultants / Research Associates – Nonprofit Strategy & Delivery to join our Practice Development Team. This role supports high-impact nonprofit consulting engagements through research, analysis, methodology development, and high-quality content creation.
Position Type: Volunteering (All volunteering positions at The Class Consulting Group are unpaid). This is a Remote position.
Responsibilities:

Conduct secondary research and support data collection for consulting projects

Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights

Support the design of project methodologies, frameworks, and workplans

Develop client-ready presentations, reports, dashboards, and supporting materials

Contribute to proposal writing, pitch decks, and client-facing documentation

Help create standardized templates, tools, and knowledge assets for the broader team

Support marketing and knowledge content during non-project periods
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a related field

Master’s degree (MBA, MPA, MS, or equivalent) preferred but not required

2–5 years of relevant professional experience in research, consulting, analytics, nonprofit, or social impact roles
Requirements

Strong written communication and structured thinking skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

High attention to detail and quality standards

Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
