Role Description
Monks is searching for a Visual QA Engineer (Not Software QA Engineer) who will take the lead in ensuring our work looks as promised on behalf of big international clients.

Work on international projects together with Monks in other offices.

Employ knowledge of manual testing methods to assess and ascertain the correct visual display and copy compliance with technical specifications of advertising assets such as display ads, social content, TVCs, etc.

Ensure that every asset looks the way it should on any browser and device as well as platform fit based on the technical specifications.

Act as the last line of defense before work is served to the general public, saving coworkers from potentially embarrassing mistakes.

Constantly ask: is the design pixel-perfect, and does it meet guidelines, specs, and other requirements?

Help better integrate visual & technical quality assurance into the overall production process.

Educate Monks on best practices with regard to versioning and formatting to reduce workload.
Qualifications

Desire to specialize in visually vetting designs and ensuring technical compliance with specifications.

Background in the Design field is a plus.

At least 3 years of relevant QA-testing experience.

Proficient English communicator, able to provide clear feedback and describe issues and required actions.

Experienced in making sure every design looks pixel-perfect.

Ability to organize and prioritize workload effectively.

Social and professional skills to tackle a big global project with an international team.
