[Hiring] Test Manager ORBIS @Dedalus

Role Description

Join our Team as Testmanager/in ORBIS (m/w/d) at Dedalus, one of the world's leading companies in healthcare technology, in Vienna or remotely across Austria. Contribute to a better healthcare system and a healthier planet.

We are looking for a dedicated individual with ORBIS expertise to support our existing customers in the Austrian market. In this role, you will work closely with medical professionals, project teams, and our clients. You will support quality assurance through structured testing of customer workflows, develop practical solutions, and contribute to the optimization of clinical processes. Your contribution will ensure stable operations and that IT in healthcare delivers real value.

• Planning, coordination, and execution of system, functional, and regression tests as part of software changes and release cycles
• Close collaboration with the operations management team, support, and development to coordinate test scenarios and ensure software quality
• Creation, maintenance, and further development of test cases, test plans, and acceptance scenarios
• Documentation and evaluation of test results and handover to support and operations
• Independent tracking and prioritization of identified errors in close coordination with the responsible departments
• Support in the further development of the internal testing strategy and establishment of testing standards
• Participation in the continuous improvement of processes according to ITIL principles

Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science, medical informatics, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
• Experience in test management, ideally in the context of clinical or business-critical software
• Understanding of IT service processes, ideally according to ITIL 4
• Experience in analyzing existing processes and developing optimization concepts
• Experience with specific hospital information systems like ORBIS or other solutions is a significant advantage
• Experience in conducting test sequences for customer processes
• Prior knowledge of the Austrian healthcare market is beneficial
• Motivated to familiarize yourself with new topics in the hospital environment, especially our software ORBIS
• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with our customers to find solutions
• Very good German language skills, both written and spoken

• The minimum salary for this position is €45,800 gross per year (38.5 hours/week) according to the IT collective agreement. Overpayment including bonus regulation depending on qualifications and experience is of course possible.
