[Hiring] Test Lead Manual (SQL) @Sequoia Connect

Role Description

We are currently searching for a Test Lead Manual (SQL):

• Lead and coordinate all QA activities across the STLC, including requirement analysis, test planning, design, execution, and closure.
• Develop and maintain detailed test plans and scripts specifically focused on backend database validation and integration.
• Perform advanced backend testing scenarios, including data integrity, stored procedures, triggers, and database performance.
• Execute rigorous SQL query testing to ensure precise data handling across various platforms.
• Lead the end-to-end QA process for complex web applications using exploratory, functional, and regression testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, Product, Ops) to identify, analyze, and resolve defects effectively.
• Monitor and report quality metrics and project status to key stakeholders.
• Implement and enforce QA best practices and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on backend and database validation.
• Expertise in writing and executing complex SQL queries (Oracle, MySQL, and/or SQL Server).
• Strong knowledge of STLC principles and methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Proven ability to test backend components, including stored procedures and triggers.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Advanced Oral English.
• Advanced Spanish.
