[Hiring] Software Tester Intern @BIP Consulting

Role Description

We are looking for a passionate Junior Software Tester to join our Team in Milan.

You will join a dynamic and multidisciplinary team and be involved in quality verification and validation activities for web and mobile applications, supporting experienced professionals throughout the different stages of the testing lifecycle. Through continuous training and on-the-job support, you will develop methodological, organizational and technical skills, take part in real-world projects and contribute to improving the quality of software products.

What You Will Do

• Analyze functional requirements, specifications and project documentation.
• Support the design and maintenance of test cases.
• Perform functional, integration and regression testing on web and mobile applications, using manual and/or automated testing approaches.
• Identify, document and monitor software defects and anomalies using dedicated tools.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, developers and project stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Quality Assurance processes.
• Use Generative Artificial Intelligence tools to support activities such as:
  • analyzing project documentation;
  • generating and optimizing test cases;
  • creating reports and documentation;
  • identifying gaps in test coverage;
  • supporting the analysis of defects and test results.

Qualifications

• Currently completing or recently graduated with a degree in a STEM discipline, such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Curious, detail-oriented and eager to learn.
• Interest in Software Quality and Technological Innovation.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative mindset and an aptitude for teamwork.
• Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Good command of English.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Basic knowledge of programming languages or databases.
• Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail or equivalent solutions.
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence and automation technologies.
