Role Description

PDRI is seeking a talented, motivated Software Tester to join our IT Services department. The Software Tester will be responsible for:

• Validating requirements are met
• Ensuring defect-free software
• Facilitating acceptance testing
• Setting up automated regression tests for multiple exciting PDRI development projects

The Software Tester will work closely with the development team to identify and remedy software defects. This role requires a professional with a keen eye for details who can work resourcefully and efficiently to assure quality of programs, software, and systems. The position is located in the Chantilly, VA area. Consideration will be given to remote employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
• 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance of web-based systems
• 3-5 years of experience writing and executing test plans
• 3-5 years of experience documenting test results, filling out defect reports, and working with development teams to resolve defects
• 1-3 years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills

Requirements

• Experience with test automation
• Experience with accessibility testing and standards (WCAG, Section 508)
• Experience leading user acceptance testing
• Experience writing unit tests
