Role Description

This role involves performing and participating in application development and testing, ensuring continuous quality and testability of code throughout the software development lifecycle.

Builds quality within the software development process with automated back- and front-end testing suites.
Provides comprehensive support from code development through functionality.
Designs, develops and maintains automated frameworks, test suites and scripts with continuous integration, testing, deployment and delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

Gains familiarity with Software Test Engineering concepts, practices, and methodologies.
With guidance, performs standard Software Test duties, including:

Working with team members to review client requirements, design and associated functional specifications.
Using standard methods and tools to test and ensure the quality of software applications.
Defining test cases with product and engineering teams.
Developing and executing manual tests.
Creating test documents covering a range of software features.
Monitoring production systems to preemptively catch outages.
Troubleshooting and debugging identified issues.
Writing and organizing test review documentation.

Assists Team Leader and team colleagues on selected projects.
Develops progress reports and communicates project status to manager and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
4 years’ experience in a related field (alternative qualification).

Requirements

Experience with Dart & Flutter or other programming languages a plus.
Experience with testing framework such as Selenium a plus.
Foundational skills in requirements analysis, software installation and support, system and technology integration, technical troubleshooting and technology savvy.
Foundational skills in building positive relationships, collaborating with intent, communicating with impact, engaging others and influencing positive outcomes.
