Role Description

GDIT is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to support our Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) program. This position is 100% remote.

• Part of a team of testers and technical writers embedded in a fully cross-functional team.
• Work closely during Agile Sprint planning, tracking, and execution.
• Apply skills toward writing test cases and conducting test events to validate ICAM software tool configuration and operation.
• Ensure deployed capabilities adhere to company standards and contract requirements.
• Responsible for ensuring testing conclusions and recommendations are fully supported by test results.
• Keep project leadership informed of test status and application deviations from documented user requirements.
• Support the design, development, integration, and maintenance of DoD applications moving into the ICAM solution.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, challenging DoD environment is a must.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5 + years of related experience.
• US Citizenship Required: Yes.

Requirements

• Must currently hold an active DoD Security Clearance of SECRET, or higher.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, OR additional work experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on software testing experience.
• Experience with software testing types and methods to support Agile Software Development.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the generation of test strategies, metrics collection, data analysis, and validation.
• Experience in decomposing requirements into detailed test cases for functional and regression test execution.
• Experience implementing test tools to support automation and performance testing.
• Experience coordinating the setup of test environments for all planned test execution activities.
• Experience and/or basic understanding of Jira and Zephyr.
• Experience working in the DoD environment on a Cloud system.
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exhibit strong communications skills (written and verbal).
• Demonstrate ability to analyze, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills and the ability to answer technical questions for the customer.
• Remote (must reside in the CONUS).
