Role Description
DMI, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer & Tester to join us.
The Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer and Tester is responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies across the TALON engineering portfolio, ensuring all software deliverables meet TSA functional requirements, performance baselines, and Section 508 accessibility standards. Key responsibilities include:

Leading test planning, test case development, defect tracking, and verification and validation activities across development, staging, and pre-production environments.

Supporting TSAβs Agile and traditional delivery methodologies.

Working closely with software developers, systems engineers, and the O&M contractor to identify and resolve defects prior to production deployment.

Developing and maintaining the Quality Control Plan.

Executing 14-day operational testing periods following system transitions.

Providing formal test results documentation to satisfy FISMA and DHS quality assurance requirements.

Performing DHS Trusted Tester for Web Methodology Version 5.0 testing for web-based deliverables.

Ensuring that all ICT deliverables do not reduce existing Section 508 conformance levels.

Providing independent assessments of engineering readiness and communicating testing status and risk to project and program leadership.
Qualifications

A minimum of 6 years of software quality assurance and testing experience is required.

Hands-on expertise in both manual and automated testing techniques across enterprise applications and web platforms.

DHS Trusted Tester certification (Version 5.0 or successor) is preferred.

Familiarity with federal software development standards, FISMA-governed system testing requirements, and Section 508 compliance frameworks.

All personnel must be U.S. citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents clearable through TSAβs fitness determination process.
