As an SDET, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high quality, stability, and security of both client-side (Windows) and server-side (web &amp; appliance) applications built using a diverse set of technologies.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage the end-to-end test process by overseeing test data and environment setup, ensuring robust support for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing scenarios.</li> <li>Build automated test frameworks for Windows and web-based applications, enabling efficient testing cycles and maximizing code quality across multiple platforms.</li> <li>Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for applications developed in languages and technologies such as C++, C#, Java, Ruby, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Angular.</li> <li>Partner with Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps Engineers to ensure thorough test coverage, seamless integrations, and smooth product releases.</li> <li>Lead code reviews for test automation code, identifying gaps, mentoring peers, and driving the adoption of best practices in software quality throughout the engineering team.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams during Agile ceremonies—including planning sessions, daily standups, and retrospectives—to ensure alignment and high-quality deliverables.</li> <li>Advise on emerging trends in software quality, automation, and DevOps, proactively suggesting improvements and innovative practices to enhance overall product stability and security.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What you will bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.</li> <li>Proven programming expertise in C++ and/or C#, with a solid foundation in software engineering principles.</li> <li>Extensive experience in SQL and database automation testing.</li> <li>Strong hands-on skills in testing web applications and REST APIs, with a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Angular for scripting and automation.</li> <li>Familiarity with Java and Ruby for File Director Appliance/Server testing is a plus—or a keen willingness and ability to learn new programming languages quickly.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to build and maintain robust UI and API automation frameworks, using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar solutions.</li> <li>Proficiency in Windows client-side application testing, including installers, services, and system integration.</li> <li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins), and an understanding of automation in DevOps workflows.</li> <li>Strong grasp of Agile and Scrum methodologies with practical exposure to modern DevOps practices.</li> <li>Exceptional analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities in cross-functional, Agile teams.</li> </ul> <p><em>Nice to have:</em></p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience in security, performance, or load testing.</li> <li>Automation background in both Windows and Linux environments.</li> <li>Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) for appliance or server-side testing scenarios.</li> <li>Understanding of virtualization technologies, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and strategies for cross-platform testing.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Why Ivanti?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Remote-friendly, flexible schedules: Empower excellence in every setting and elevate human potential.</li> <li>Competitive compensation &amp; total rewards: Including health, wellness, and financial plans tailored for you and your family.</li> <li>Global, diverse teams: Collaborate with talented people from 23+ countries.</li> <li>Learning &amp; development: Grow your skills with access to best-in-class learning tools and programs.</li> <li>Equity &amp; belonging: We value every voice.
