Role Description

As Our Senior QA Engineer, You Will:

• Test Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans covering manual, automated, and performance testing based on an understanding of product requirements and business processes.
• Automated Testing, Performance and Stress Testing: Create and maintain efficient automated testing frameworks, writing test scripts and implementing automated testing processes.
• Defect Management and Communication Collaboration: Accurately record and track defects found during testing. Maintain close communication with cross-functional team members, collaborate to solve problems during testing, and promote the smooth progress of projects.

This is a fully-remote opportunity based in India. Standard work hours are from 8 am to 5 pm IST.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, with experience working in fast-paced and complex project environments preferred.
• 3 years of experience in automated testing and test case design, and familiarity with test plan development.
• Proficient in at least one programming language, such as C, C++, Java, Go, Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.
• Rich experience in automated testing and familiarity with various automated testing frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Robot framework, etc.
• Proficient in API testing (such as Postman, REST Assured) and performance testing (such as JMeter, Gatling).
• Understanding of database operations (such as SQL) and ability to operate in a Linux environment.
• Familiarity with Agile development methods and ability to work efficiently in an Agile team.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to quickly locate and solve complex problems during software testing.
• Good organizational, collaborative, and time-management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-tasking and cross-team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with people from different departments and levels.
• Ability to work independently, complete tasks with limited guidance, and be proactive in learning and adapting to new work requirements.
• Innovative mindset and a passion for learning new technologies, with the ability to continuously explore and apply new testing methods and technologies to improve the efficiency and quality of testing work.

Requirements

• Familiarity with professional QA methodologies and tools.
• Good understanding of QA-related Python.
• Experience with stress testing tools and performance tests for API and backend features.
• Knowledge of SQL, Docker, and Linux basics.
