Role Description

• Design, document, and execute comprehensive test cases and scenarios for web applications.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated tests to improve efficiency, consistency, and coverage.
• Validate front-end components, user interactions, APIs, backend functionality, and data integrity across integrations.
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to clarify requirements, define acceptance criteria, and identify quality risks.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Help engineers identify defect root causes and prevent recurring issues.
• Contribute to test strategy, coverage analysis, and QA process improvements.
• Support regression testing and release validation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Solid professional QA experience testing complex web applications.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing techniques, and the software development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Experience developing or maintaining automated tests using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Experience designing test cases, documenting defects, and managing test execution.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques.
• Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted testing tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with attention to detail.

Requirements

• Experience with performance, accessibility, or security testing.
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud-based testing environments; experience improving QA processes within small development teams.
