[Hiring] Senior Mobile QA Testing @GlobalLogic

Role Description

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team and lead quality assurance initiatives across web and mobile applications. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies, drive automation efforts, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will play a key role in project success by mentoring team members, establishing testing best practices, and partnering with clients and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Test Engineering or QA Automation.
• Hands-on experience testing mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.
• Experience with Maestro or similar automation frameworks for mobile or browser-based testing.
• Experience with Postman or API automation frameworks for REST API testing.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing best practices and quality assurance methodologies.
• Experience with Jira or other test management and defect tracking tools.
• Experience working within Agile software development teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience mentoring team members and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders is highly preferred.

Requirements

• Lead the Test Engineering function within cross-functional Agile teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables and successful project outcomes.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Create and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Define testing strategies, quality objectives, acceptance criteria, and test plans for project delivery.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to identify issues, improve product quality, and support continuous delivery.
• Perform code reviews, provide quality-focused feedback, and promote test automation best practices.
• Mentor junior and mid-level Test Engineers, providing technical guidance, coaching, and career development support.
• Communicate project status, testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Support defect management, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
