[Hiring] Senior Manager, Quality Audit @Lincoln Financial

Role Description

We are excited to bring on a Sr. Manager, Quality Audit to support the Retirement Plan Services business in a work from home environment.

As the Sr. Manager, Quality Audit, you will:

• Oversee the Retirement Plan Operations Quality program.
• Lead a team of Quality professionals and oversee vendor resources.
• Drive the program’s strategy and execution to strengthen operational performance, mitigate risk, and enhance customer and business outcomes.
• Identify trends, uncover improvement opportunities, and ensure effective oversight of participant and plan-level processes.
• Mentor and develop talent, lead a team responsible for complex participant- and plan-level audits and reviews.
• Translate findings into meaningful action, drive process and control improvements, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

You will manage a team of early to mid-career professionals with accountability for operational performance and results:

• Lead a team responsible for conducting quality audits, balancing workloads, setting priorities, and ensuring work meets established performance and documentation standards.
• Establish and implement priorities, manage performance, share expertise, and develop talent through hiring, training, feedback, and stretch opportunities.
• Manage, coach, and evaluate team members, providing timely feedback, development opportunities, and clear accountability for individual and team results.
• Lead complex reviews and testing to evaluate adherence to company procedures, regulatory requirements, and critical controls.
• Analyze audit results and operational data to identify trends, control gaps, root causes, and opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and business outcomes.
• Communicate audit findings, risk implications, and recommended actions to business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain quality metrics and scorecards that measure performance, prioritize issues, and support informed decision-making.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop corrective action plans, resolve identified issues, and monitor remediation activities.

Qualifications

• 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of audit or quality assurance experience directly aligned to the specific responsibilities of this role, including 2+ years of managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrated leadership experience.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multitask while maintaining strict attention to detail.
• Ability to evaluate information and data trends, solve challenging but non-complex problems, apply sound judgment to draw conclusions and act effectively in situations with limited standardization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Requirements

• Demonstrated success leading quality audit programs, ideally within retirement operations.
• Experience managing offshore vendor partnerships, including quality governance and performance oversight.
• Ability to lead the transformation of a quality organization from decentralized teams to a centralized, enterprise-wide model.
