[Hiring] Senior Fiber Infrastructure QAQC Manager @AECOM

Role Description

AECOM’s Technology Solutions Group (TSG) is seeking a Senior Fiber Infrastructure QAQC Manager to join our ICT Team. This position is a remote working situation. Our Senior Fiber Infrastructure QAQC Manager will support a major fiber infrastructure standards initiative. This role will assist in updating and maintaining technical standards, implementing quality assurance processes, and supporting governance activities for a global program. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in telecommunications engineering, quality management, and training development.

• Assist in reviewing and updating MF OSP standards, specifications, and guidelines.
• Support development of technical schematics, drawings, and documentation for clarity and compliance.
• Implement QA/QC processes for engineering deliverables and provide audit support.
• Collaborate with governance committees to prepare documentation for expedited approvals.
• Contribute to training content development and accessibility initiatives, including multilingual support.
• Provide technical input for compliance and risk mitigation strategies.
• Participate in program-level coordination and reporting activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, or related field + 8 years of experience in fiber optic infrastructure, QA/QC, and standards development.
• Demonstrated experience managing quality programs and developing technical documentation.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a support role.
• PMP or Six Sigma certification.
• Expertise in QA/QC frameworks and governance processes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS tools, and documentation platforms.
• Familiarity with MF OSP standards and global compliance requirements.
