Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a Senior Automation Tester.
- Create and execute test cases
- Perform manual and automated testing
- Conduct API testing
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery
- Implement quality assurance practices
Qualifications
- 7-8+ years of testing experience, including team leadership experience
- Good knowledge of Cypress or Playwright is a must-have
- Configuring build or continuous integration and deployment tools (CI/CD tools) (e.g Jenkins, Github Actions, Azure DevOps, Ant, Maven, Shell, PowerShell)
- Decent/workable expertise in writing SQL queries and API testing, both Manual and Automation
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, high-stakes projects in agile environment
- Proven experience in building, mentoring and managing efficient testing teams
- Good hands-on experience on Creating Test Plan, Test Strategy, setting up Testing Environment; understanding business requirement
- Experience with GIT source control and associated plugins
- Good knowledge of Test Automation tools
- AWS and MS Azure Fundamental knowledge
- Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence for managing the application lifecycle
- Experience with Testrails, Testlink or other Test management tools
- Good experience with Application Monitoring Tools like New Relic, AppSignal, or similar
Requirements
- Agile, Scrum, TDD
- Exposure of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment practices (DevOps)
- Understanding SonarQube and writing clean code best practices
- Experience with risk, compliance and document control business technology
- Domain expertise like healthcare, transportation, or banking domain
- Experience with Appium is good to have
- Experience in JMeter is good to have
