Role Description
Capital Technology Group (CTG) is on a mission to modernize and innovate the way the federal government delivers software. For this role specifically, we are seeking individuals to help support high-impact, civic tech within the federal government.
- Implement quality assurance techniques and tools
- Reviews code and product throughout the software development lifecycle
- Ensure defects are identified, recorded, and properly triaged
- Responsible for working with stakeholders to drive quality throughout the entire SDLC process by ensuring that all code meets quality standards
- Ensure all code is built and tested in non-production environments before promotion to Production environments
- Ensure that testing is automated so that every commit is tested without intervention
- Responsible for collaborating with other QE’s to handle cross-team testing dependencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4 years of experience
- Must be able to get up-to-speed quickly on new projects and technologies
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Requirements
- Applicants MUST BE US Citizens and be able to obtain Public Trust clearance
Nice to Have Skills
- People Management Experience
- Experience with automated Accessibility-testing tools
- Good understanding of HTML, Web Accessibility and Section 508 requirements
- 508 Certified Tester
Salary Information
We are committed to offering a competitive salary for this position, with an estimated range of $80k to $110k annually. Please note that this range is intended to provide a general idea of what to expect. The final offer may vary based on experience, skills, and other factors.
