Role Description

Earls Plumbing & Drain Cleaning is seeking a diligent and meticulous Quality Documentation Specialist to join our team. This person will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company's documentation process, ensuring all documents meet legal requirements, and prioritizing the speedy resolution of any documentation issues or discrepancies that arise.

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining document management systems to enhance data retrieval and management.
• Working closely with different departments to gather, analyze and maintain data necessary for the production of standard and custom reports.
• Ensuring the company's documents meet established quality standards and adheres to legal and company regulations and policies.
• Identifying document inconsistencies and errors and taking corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintaining a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation, regularly updated for relevance.
• Collaborating with the department managers and staff to collect data for document preparation and procedures.
• Reviewing documents and procedure manuals for clarity, accuracy of content, compliance with regulatory requirements, and adherence to the company's style guide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in document control or a related role, ideally within the Plumbing industry.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
• Strong communication skills both in writing and verbally.
• Technical skills in document control systems and procedures.
• Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
• Expertise in setting up and managing electronic document management systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
