[Hiring] Quality Control Specialist @Buckland

Role Description

This position is responsible for coordinating and auditing documentation on entries, as assigned. This position will assist in maintaining the quality and accuracy of import entries. Furthermore, the position handles requests for missing information and ensures that all data is accurate.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of customer service to clients, vendors, and service providers in acquiring the proper import documentation.
• Review Certificates of Origin and other documentation to confirm eligibility to Free Trade programs.
• Analyze and update PGA records in entries and database with knowledge of PGA reporting requirements.
• Audit assigned files to ensure accuracy and instructions are followed.
• Work with operations department in maintaining the client database.
• Assist team leader in training of team members as assigned.
• Service clients and report any issues to Team Leader/Supervisor.
• Ensure all shipments are entered in accordance with the US Federal Code of Regulations.
• Support as required in all Departmental Operations.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in US Customs brokerage.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in quality control.
• Basic knowledge of HTS classification.
• Intermediate MS Office knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work for the Company at all times.
• Valid Passport and ability and desire to occasionally travel if required to other office locations in CAD/USA/MX.
