[Hiring] Quality Control Specialist @Deluxe

Role Description

The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for performing QC checks on various file types, ensuring subtitles align with industry and Deluxe standards, and meeting client requirements regarding timing, formatting, and language guidelines. This role also involves auditing and mentoring new joiners as required.

• Work in a time-sensitive environment and meet daily delivery deadlines.
• Check that language subtitles conform to Deluxe guidelines and client requirements.
• Ensure subtitles are error-free by referring to client and project documents, delivering a final consistent product.
• Maintain an average quality of at least 99.7% throughout the year for all clients.
• Ensure 100% on-time delivery for all clients.
• Effectively communicate with internal/external stakeholders.
• Adhere to department specific schedules and standard operating procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Team player.
• Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
• Experienced or knowledgeable about various localization workflows with emphasis on subtitling for all media & entertainment distribution channels.
• Able to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Sound technical knowledge and excellent command of Microsoft Windows systems and Office Suite.
• Eager to take on more responsibilities.
• Strong command over both written and verbal communication.
