The future is bright for the Porch Group, and we’d love you to be a part of it as a Quality Assurance Team Lead. Porch.com's Insurance business unit is hiring a Quality Assurance Team Lead to lead our Colombia-based team of Quality Assurance Auditors and Evaluators.

• Drive consistent quality standards across key insurance processes.
• Coach your team to close performance gaps.
• Serve as the main connection point between Quality Assurance and U.S.-based Operations leadership.
• Turn audit findings into insights that improve compliance, performance, and the customer experience.

This role reports to our Senior Learning & Development and Quality Assurance Manager.

What You Will Do As A Quality Assurance Team Lead

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quality Assurance Auditors and Evaluators.
• Design and maintain the audit plan across key insurance processes.
• Facilitate QA calibration sessions and validate scoring methodologies.
• Monitor individual QA performance and recommend action plans for underperformance.
• Partner with Operations to develop, track, and close out corrective and preventive actions.
• Partner with Learning & Development to deliver and reinforce training content.
• Provide regular quality updates and a formal quarterly report to leadership.
• Maintain QA documentation — audit forms, scorecards, evaluation criteria, and SOPs.
• Manage team schedules, attendance, and workload to ensure consistent QA coverage.
• Serve as the primary link between the QA team and U.S.-based leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field.
• 3+ years in Quality Assurance, auditing, or insurance operations.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team.
• Strong grounding in insurance operations, compliance, and QA methodology.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• A track record of giving constructive feedback that drives performance improvement.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience collaborating across time zones with distributed, cross-cultural teams.
• Experience with U.S. insurance claims, underwriting, or policy administration.
• Familiarity with root-cause analysis and continuous improvement frameworks.
• Experience managing offshore or distributed QA teams.
• Experience with QMS (Quality Management System) platforms.
• Familiarity with AI-forward QA platforms.
• Comfort using AI tools in daily work to automate routine tasks.

Benefits

• Pay Range: COP 3,800,000.00 to COP 4,950,000.00 salary per month.
