Position Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled PowerApps Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate) and experience with Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps. The PowerApps QA Engineer will be responsible for designing, executing, and automating comprehensive test cases for PowerApps solutions, ensuring the robustness and functionality of workflows and integrations. This role requires a deep understanding of Power Automate workflows, PowerApps (Canvas & Model-Driven Apps), and Azure Data Factory pipelines to ensure high-quality application deployments. You will also be involved in validating complex integrations with SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and other Microsoft tools. A strong grasp of Azure DevOps for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) will be essential to streamline testing and deployments in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities : PowerApps QA Testing and Validation : <ul><li>Design and Develop Test Cases for both Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps using PowerApps. Ensure full functionality, data integrity, user experience, and seamless integration.</li><li>Perform manual and automated testing of PowerApps applications, ensuring that they meet functional requirements and perform as expected.</li><li>Test PowerApps applications against various data sources like SharePoint, SQL Server, Dataverse, and external APIs.</li><li>Review PowerApps formulas and ensure their accurate functionality, performing validation on screens, forms, and workflows.</li><li>Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for PowerApps solutions, ensuring business users validate the app meets their requirements.</li><li>Collaborate with the development team to ensure bugs or issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner.</li></ul>Power Automate (Microsoft Flow) Workflow Testing :<ul><li>Design, implement, and test workflows in Power Automate, ensuring seamless integration with PowerApps, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.</li><li>Test and validate the connectors used within Power Automate to ensure workflows run efficiently and that data is passed correctly across systems.</li><li>Create automated solutions in Power Automate to streamline business processes, including approvals, notifications, and scheduling.</li><li>Validate workflows that involve complex logic and conditions, ensuring that processes are automated with high accuracy.</li><li>Troubleshoot and debug issues in workflows and escalate unresolved issues to the development team.</li><li>Test integration of Power Automate with external systems using custom connectors for third-party API integrations.</li></ul>Azure Data Factory (ADF) Pipeline Testing and Validation : <ul><li>Leverage Azure Data Factory (ADF) to validate and test data pipelines, ensuring the seamless integration of data flows between various data storage services such as Azure Blob Storage, SQL Database, and others.</li><li>Create, schedule, and manage data pipelines in ADF, ensuring data flows accurately and efficiently between multiple systems and applications.</li><li>Test and debug ADF workflows, ensuring no data loss or corruption occurs during processing.</li><li>Perform performance tuning of ADF pipelines, optimizing data flows to meet business requirements and increase efficiency.</li><li>Work with version control systems like Git to manage ADF assets and ensure consistency across multiple environments.</li><li>Collaborate with the ADF team to ensure that data integration points are performing optimally across PowerApps, Power Automate, and external data sources.</li><li>Azure DevOps for Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD):</li><li>Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated deployment of PowerApps solutions, ensuring a smooth and error-free release process.</li><li>Perform thorough testing within multiple environments (development, staging, production) to ensure applications work seamlessly after deployment.</li><li>Collaborate with the development team to ensure automated testing is integrated into the DevOps pipeline, enhancing the testing process as part of the CI/CD cycle.</li><li>Participate in code reviews to ensure that PowerApps code adheres to best practices and meets quality standards.</li><li>Assist in maintaining version control using Git and track deployments across multiple environments.</li></ul>General Azure Services Testing : <ul><li>Understand and test other Azure services like Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure DevOps that might be integrated with PowerApps solutions.</li><li>Validate the functionality of Azure Functions integrated into PowerApps workflows, ensuring serverless execution triggers are working as expected.</li><li>Test Azure Logic Apps for process automation across different Azure services, ensuring correct data flow and execution.</li><li>Conduct security and compliance testing for Azure-integrated solutions, ensuring they meet the organization's security standards.</li><li>Ensure regulatory compliance with data privacy and security laws when handling sensitive data through PowerApps and Azure services.</li><li>Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:</li><li>Engage with business stakeholders, users, and project managers to understand the functional and non-functional requirements of PowerApps solutions.</li><li>Ensure that test cases reflect business processes and are aligned with user expectations and needs.</li><li>Provide feedback to developers and business analysts about improvements in app design or functionality, based on testing outcomes.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve the testing processes and automation strategies.</li></ul>Documentation & Reporting : <ul><li>Maintain comprehensive test documentation including test cases, test results, and defects logs in tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.</li><li>Generate status reports and bug reports for the QA team and other stakeholders, providing transparency into testing progress.</li><li>Provide recommendations for process improvements based on recurring issues or challenges identified during testing phases.</li><li>Required Skills and Qualifications:</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li><li>3+ years of experience working in PowerApps development and Quality Assurance.</li><li>Strong understanding of PowerApps (Canvas and Model-Driven) and the ability to design, develop, and test PowerApps applications.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Power Automate and developing automated workflows that integrate with SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF) and the ability to validate, optimize, and troubleshoot data integration pipelines.</li><li>Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, including automated testing and deployment of PowerApps solutions.</li><li>Proficiency in using Git for version control of PowerApps and ADF assets.</li><li>Experience with security and compliance testing within Azure services and PowerApps.</li><li>Understanding of Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and other Azure services.</li><li>Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to identify and resolve issues related to PowerApps, Power Automate, and ADF.</li><li>Ability to create detailed test plans, execute tests, and document results in an organized and structured manner.</li><li>Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with developers, project managers, and business stakeholders.</li></ul>Preferred Skills and Qualifications : <ul><li>Microsoft Power Platform Certification (PL-100).</li><li>Experience with Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and other related Azure services.</li><li>Knowledge of performance testing and optimization techniques for PowerApps, Power Automate, and ADF.</li><li>Familiarity with Power BI and data visualization integrations in PowerApps solutions.</li><li>Work Environment:</li><li>Remote/On-Site (depending on organizational
