Role Description

Seeroo IT Solutions is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our technology team. As a QA Engineer at Seeroo IT Solutions, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, reliability, performance, and functionality of our software applications and digital solutions. You will work closely with developers, designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues, prevent defects, and deliver seamless user experiences. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, experience with manual and/or automated testing, and a passion for maintaining high-quality software standards.

• Develop, review, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.
• Perform manual and automated testing of web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and other digital products.
• Identify, document, track, and report software defects and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, usability, compatibility, and performance testing as required.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to understand requirements and establish quality standards.
• Validate software functionality against business requirements, technical specifications, and user expectations.
• Utilize testing tools and frameworks to improve test coverage, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile development activities to promote quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Maintain clear documentation of test results, defects, test procedures, and quality assurance processes.
• Recommend improvements to testing strategies, workflows, and quality standards to enhance overall product reliability.
• Ensure software releases meet established quality benchmarks before deployment.
• Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies, automation frameworks, testing tools, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, Software Tester, QA Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with manual testing and familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking and project management tools such as Jira or equivalent systems.
• Understanding of web technologies, databases, and basic SQL queries for data validation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to create clear test documentation and communicate technical issues effectively.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple testing tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of performance testing, security testing, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation frameworks is a plus.
