[Hiring] Quality Assurance Engineer @Atlas Technica

Role Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our DevOps team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and readiness of Atlas Technica's applications and technical solutions.

• Responsible for planning and executing functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and API testing.
• Validate releases against established technical standards, requirements, and expected user outcomes.
• Work closely with developers and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Identify risks early, document defects clearly, and ensure issues are appropriately resolved before release.
• Combine strong manual testing experience with analytical thinking, attention to detail, clear documentation, and a continuous-improvement mindset.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate testing processes as the QA function continues to mature.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or software testing, with strong manual-testing experience.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software testing techniques, defect management, and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience testing complex web applications across user interface, backend, integration, and API layers.
• Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality test cases, checklists, scenarios, and supporting test documentation.
• Experience using QA, development, or defect-management platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar tools.
• Working understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience testing within integrated development and deployment environments.
• Experience working within Agile or Scrum development teams.
• Basic knowledge of T-SQL with the ability to use data to support testing and validation activities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to document defects, risks, test results, and technical information clearly.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience developing or maintaining automated test cases, scripts, or testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with API-testing tools and techniques.
• Experience contributing to QA process improvement, test automation, or broader quality-engineering initiatives.
• Experience working closely with DevOps or software engineering teams in a continuous delivery environment.
• Strong technical curiosity with an interest in improving testing efficiency, coverage, and release quality.
• Experience helping establish or mature QA standards, documentation, or repeatable testing practices.
