Role Description
This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in data organization, process improvement, and quality assurance. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring a smooth migration process that supports our operational efficiency and compliance efforts.
- Review and analyze current file structures, naming conventions, and categorization.
- Standardize file names and organize documents based on predefined taxonomy.
- Merge and consolidate redundant or related files.
- Create and maintain an excel spreadsheet to log metadata.
- Verify data integrity and ensure accuracy before finalizing import into our eDMS.
- Assist in testing and troubleshooting issues.
- Work collaboratively with the Quality Assurance Compliance team to confirm file ownership and naming conventions.
- Develop a step-by-step guide on best practices for future document organization and migration efforts.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Data Science or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data validation, pivot tables, etc.).
- Ability to analyze and categorize large sets of data efficiently.
- Experience with eDMS (specifically MasterControl) is a plus.
