[Hiring] QA Test Manager @Nexiva

Role Description

Texas Workforce Commission is seeking an experienced QA Test Manager to lead manual testing, API validation, integration testing, UAT, and regression testing efforts for enterprise applications supporting NASWA SIDES data exchanges.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
• Perform manual API testing using Postman and/or SoapUI.
• Conduct end-to-end integration testing between internal systems and external partners.
• Validate XML and JSON payloads against business and technical requirements.
• Perform SQL-based backend data validation and database testing.
• Manage UAT, regression, performance, accessibility, interface, and data conversion testing.
• Track, document, and manage defects throughout the SDLC.
• Coordinate testing activities, schedules, resources, and stakeholder communications.
• Prepare testing reports, metrics, and quality status updates.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of QA/Test Management experience.
• Strong manual testing experience for enterprise applications.
• Expertise with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
• Experience with integration testing and third-party system interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
• Experience with Selenium, UFT, JUnit, or similar testing tools.
• Strong defect management and test documentation experience.
• Experience leading UAT and regression testing activities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• DB2 and SQL Server.
• Jenkins, Maven, CVS, Ant.
• ALM Octane.
• XML and JSON validation.
• SQL-based data verification and database testing.
• NASWA SIDES or similar government data exchange experience.
• State of Texas project experience.
