[Hiring] QA/QC Field Specialist I @DLB Associates

Role Description

The QA/QC Field Specialist I ensures all systems are installed to the project requirements in accordance with the Project Documents, Basis of Design (BOD), the Commissioning Plan of Record, and the Quality Control Plan. This person will collaborate with design engineers, construction contractors, equipment vendors, and client staff to validate newly installed electrical and mechanical systems including those in mission-critical facilities. Responsibilities include:

• Monitor Daily Construction Activities and provide timely status reports on project scheduling.
• Manage Change Order management and contractor conformance to Quality Control Plan.
• Communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls system principles.
• Skilled at using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows.
• Ability to work successfully in a remote environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
• Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently.
• Organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Requirements

• Up to 75% domestic travel; must have a valid driver’s license and ability to rent vehicles.
• Must be located near a major airport.
• Effective May 7, 2025, a valid REAL ID (or an acceptable alternative) is required for travel.
