Role Description
We are looking for an energetic and talented QA Manager with a strong understanding of how to implement a world class QA program for an Agile Product Development environment. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to have a huge impact and be part of a growing team in a fast-moving, exciting, and entrepreneurial space.
As our QA leader, you'll work in a Scaled Agile environment with over 100 technology professionals across multiple geographies, collaborating with both employees and outsource partners to drive quality excellence.
- Lead and evolve our QA strategy, processes, and execution across all products
- Collaborate closely with development leadership in a "QA shift left" approach
- Work with Squads and Team Leads to achieve quality objectives and improve testing methodologies
- Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies including manual and automated testing
- Facilitate the development and implementation of API and strategic UI automation testing
- Oversee and improve test case management, test execution, smoke testing, and desk checks
- Implement and enhance performance testing and scalability testing protocols
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA team members
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive their implementation
- Help make high-level technical decisions related to quality assurance infrastructure
Qualifications
- 7+ years of QA experience in a product development environment
- 3+ years in a QA leadership role
- Strong experience with test automation frameworks and tools, particularly API automation
- Experience with test case management systems and test execution frameworks
- Proficiency in performance testing and scalability testing methodologies
- Experience implementing and managing automated testing pipelines
- Knowledge of modern CI/CD practices and their integration with QA processes
- Experience working with cloud-based and hybrid-cloud architectures
- Understanding of Behavior-Driven Development frameworks like Cucumber
- Experience with operational activities - monitoring, alerting, reporting, etc.
- Background in training and mentoring QA engineers
Requirements

- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, ambitious environment with high expectations
- Strategic thinker who can balance immediate needs with long-term quality goals
- Flexible mindset and able to deal with ambiguity while bringing clarity
- Excellent communication skills - in person, on the phone, and in writing
- Comfortable communicating with peers, juniors, seniors, and executives
- Intellectually curious, forward-thinking, willing to suggest and try new technologies and creative approaches to quality challenges
Benefits
- Familiarity with .NET & Vue.js and AWS environments a strong plus
- Knowledge and/or experience with AI in QA a strong plus
- Experience testing restaurant technology or POS systems
- Familiarity with testing UWP/Windows Store/Windows/WPF applications
- Experience with application monitoring solutions
- Background in DevOps practices
- Knowledge of accessibility testing
- Experience with security testing methodologies
