[Hiring] QA Engineer @Betby

Role Description

We’re looking for a Manual QA Engineer with a strong backend focus who can take ownership of testing across complex microservices systems. You’ll work closely with developers and product teams to ensure reliability, identify edge cases, and maintain high quality across the platform.

• Design, develop, and maintain test documentation including test cases, checklists, and bug reports
• Perform functional, non-functional, and regression testing of backend systems
• Execute test design techniques to ensure comprehensive test coverage
• Validate microservices-based architecture, ensuring proper interaction between services
• Analyze logs and system behavior (Kibana, Grafana) to detect root causes
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming and other ceremonies
• Identify gaps in requirements and provide feedback to improve product quality and documentation
• Prioritize testing activities and manage multiple tasks effectively to meet deadlines
• Continuously improve QA processes and contribute to team knowledge sharing

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in back-end testing
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with Agile/Scrum teams
• Experience in writing test documentation (test cases, checklists, bug reports)
• Proficiency in functional, non-functional, and regression testing; test design techniques
• Test management system (e.g., Jira, TestRail) and API testing (e.g., Postman) tools
• Experience in REST API and websocket
• Kafka and MongoDB fundamentals for data validation
• Kibana for system log analysis
