Role Description

Are you a motivated QA Engineer who wants to make an impact by ensuring the quality and reliability of scalable cloud-based applications through thoughtful testing and continuous improvement?

You'll be part of the Cloud Connect team, working on building and operating scalable, reliable cloud-based solutions. The team collaborates closely with development, operations, and customer-facing units to deliver high-quality services.

• Ensure high quality in custom software projects.
• Analyze and assess risks related to client requirements.
• Design, maintain, execute, and document (automated) tests.
• Collaborate closely with project teams and technical client departments.
• Actively support development and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or a comparable qualification with relevant experience.
• Experience working with agile methodologies in software testing and development.
• Solid understanding of web-based applications and APIs.
• Basic knowledge of tools, methods, and programming languages for test automation.
• Strong attention to detail, user expectations, and potential sources of error, combined with a structured and results-oriented working style.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, contribute innovative ideas, and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Intrinsic motivation to take ownership and a passion for open-source technologies, thriving in a low-hierarchy environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both German and English.
• Comfortable working in a remote-first environment with multicultural teams across different time zones.
