[Hiring] QA Engineer @OpenNetworks

Role Description

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategies for web applications, API’s, and data interoperability platforms
• Perform manual testing including functional, regression, and integration testing across multiple products
• Design, create and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard testing frameworks and tools
• Identify, document, and track software defects through their entire lifecycle, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to understand requirements and establish quality criteria for new features
• Participate in agile ceremonies and provide quality insights during sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in software testing
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with hands-on manual and automated testing experience
• Proficiency with testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Jest, or similar automation technologies
• Knowledge of microservices testing tools such as Postman, etc.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Experience with cloud platforms
• Experience with bug tracking systems (Jira) and test case management tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and ability to think from an end-user perspective
• Previous experience in the medical industry is helpful, but not required.
• QA certifications (ISTQB, CSQA, CSTE, CQA) helpful, but not required.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards (X12, EDI) helpful, but not required.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Loadrunner) helpful, but not required.
